How to Prepare the Screen for High-Density Printing

1. Choose the Right Screen Mesh:

   • Standard Mesh Count: 110-160 mesh for bold high-density effects.
   • Lower Mesh (86-110) for thicker deposits.
   • Higher Mesh (160-200) for fine, detailed raised designs.

2. Use a Thick Emulsion Layer:

   • Coat the screen 3-5 times on both sides to achieve a high stencil build-up.
   • Let the emulsion fully dry between coats for maximum thickness.
   • Recommended emulsions: Capillary Film (200+ microns) or thick dual-cure emulsions.

3. Expose Properly for Thickness:

   • Use a longer exposure time to fully harden the thick stencil.
   • Test the stencil before printing to ensure durability.

4. Check the Screen for Proper Registration:

   • Ensure the stencil edges are crisp and free from pinholes.
   • A well-prepared screen ensures precise high-density prints.

Printing & Curing Instructions

Printing Process:
✔ Use a Sharp-Edge Squeegee (70-75 durometer) for clean ink deposit.
✔ Print with Heavy Pressure to push ink through the thick stencil.
✔ Flash Cure at 220°F - 250°F (104°C - 121°C) for 3-5 seconds.

Curing Process:
✔ Final Cure at 320°F - 330°F (160°C - 165°C) for 30-40 seconds.
✔ The 3D effect fully expands during curing.
✔ Avoid overheating to prevent flattening the raised effect.
