Screen Preparation for Puff Ink Printing

1. Choose the Right Screen Mesh:

   • 86-110 Mesh – Ideal for maximum puff effect and ink deposit.
   • Higher mesh (160-200) – For subtle puff effects with more detail.

2. Stencil Preparation:

   • Use a thicker emulsion layer (capillary film or multiple coats) to allow proper ink buildup.
   • Ensure sharp stencil edges for clean, defined prints.

3. Printing Process:

   • Use medium pressure to deposit enough ink for puffing.
   • Print one pass for standard puff, multiple passes for extra height.

Curing Instructions for Maximum Puff Effect

1. Flash Cure: 250°F (121°C) for 3-5 seconds.
2. Final Cure: 320°F - 330°F (160°C - 165°C) – Puff effect will fully expand during curing.
3. Check for Over-Expansion: If the ink starts puffing too early, lower flash temp or raise the flash unit.

Clean-Up Instructions
